Our client experienced great difficulty removing ink build up on a machine that runs 24 hours a day. Ice Blasting Solutions were asked to remove this build up during a time restricted shut down period. We were more than capable of producing outstanding results that kept within this short time frame.

The images above show an ink wheel at a one of the major printing manufacturers in the UK. The Ice Blasting Solutions team worked a night shift to clean and remove printing ink from the wheel. The printing ink was adding to the weight of the machinery and thus causing extra strain on the motor and gearing of the machine. As you can see the results were fantastic and a real; benefit to the client.

The video below shows how our ice blasting team effectively cleaned the floor area of a large printing presses. The client has used a variety of cleaning options and agrees that ice blasting was by far the most superior of their options. The clients traditional form of cleaning used harmful chemicals which caused major health and safety issues. Another option they attempted was to take the floor panels up and have them cleaned off site. This was the least convenient option as this was extremely time consuming on such a tight shut down period.

Ice blast cleaning was the best and most convenient option for the client. We cleaned all floor areas in situ allowing other trades to perform their maintenance work. No shut down time means more production times and no extra costs.

The video above shows our ice blasting team cleaning paper mulch from factory machinery in a paper mill. The results were extremely effective with the overall outcome being much better than initially expected- another happy client!
